Work Experience
Students won third places in Skit and Tableau at the State level competitions
held at Ernakulam this year. The science club meets on Tuesdays. The
students were able to win prizes at district level science competitions.
The mathematical club also meets on Tuesday. The students were able
to win prizes at district level Maths Competitions. We held a work
experience festival in October. We were a major participant group
at District work experience which include, the entire general and
special schools of the district. Out of more than 100 Schools, Mar
Thoma School for the deaf was declared overall champion of the festival.
At the state level competitions, we got third place in coconut shell
work.
We have 32 students in Scouts and 30 students in Guides. They participated
in the district independence day parade at Kasaragod, patrol leader's
training camp at Kasaragod and state extension rally at Neerpara.
The band troop has 24 members and the troop led 15 programs. Farmer's
club is functioning with the assistance from Agricultural office Cherkala.
