20th annual
Report Mar Thoma school for the deaf is a mission of the Mar Thoma
Church to reach out and care the hearing impaired in North Malabar.
Opened for the less fortunate children in 1981, the international
year of the disabled, the school has now completed 20 years of this
service to the disabled. God provide for them. They taught us that
they are not disabled but otherwise variously abled. The years report
is a record of this various areas in which these children proved their
proficiency. We thank God for all these blessings. On the occasion
of the completion of 20 years, we gratefully remember the noble guidance
of the Rt. Rev. Easow Mar Timotheos, the founder of the school, The
Rt. Rev. Dr. Zacharias Mar Theophilus and the Rt. Rev. Dr. Geevarghese
Mar Theodosius, Rt. Rev. Joseph Mar Barnabas, the former bishops of
the Diocese. We are thankful to the Rt. Rev. Thomas Mar Timotheos
Episcopa for his sincere leadership now. We thank all the people who
prayed for the progress of the school. We hope that you all will be
with us in future.
